Bardon, Brisbane Sports remedial therapy in Bardon
Bardon is about six minutes from my Paddington practice, a leafy suburb backing onto Mt Coot-tha. The trails and hills here mean I see plenty of trail runners and mountain bikers, alongside the active families who make the most of the bush on their doorstep.
Elite experience, open to every level
My experience is with elite Australian athletes, and the same clinical, education-first approach suits a Bardon trail runner or a parent who just wants to move without pain. I am recognised for finding the mechanism of injury others miss, then treating the cause.
Real hands-on time on the table, a clear explanation, and a plan to keep it away. Elite or everyday, the standard does not change.
What I treat for Bardon locals
The trails bring running injuries and cycling and mountain-bike load, and I treat plenty of gym niggles too. See the full range on the treatments page, or book and tell me what hurts.
How the treatment works
Assessment
I take your history, watch how you move, and use orthopaedic testing to rule things in or out. Black and white: positive or negative.
Treatment
Hands-on soft tissue work, with real time on the table. I treat the whole area involved, not just the point of pain.
Education
You leave understanding your own body. A few sessions in, you can tell me what is happening and why. That is what keeps it from coming back.
Common questions
Where do I come for treatment?
I treat from my Paddington practice, about six minutes from Bardon, by appointment. Get in touch and we will find a time.
Is this a sports massage?
No. A sports massage is a general, relaxation-style rub down. This is clinical treatment for a specific problem. This is not relax. This is treatment.
